ImSoft Ltd was established by people experienced in medical decision support system planning and creating who are familiar with the latest computing technologies as well as the high level of user-friendly software design, because they know that a good tool is essential for proper diagnosis. The company has good relations with the most prestigious technical university in Hungary and works with many medical institutes in order to create the best possible product.
Field of activity
In medicine imaging techniques considered today indispensable tools. They most often represent X-Ray, US, CT, MRI. PACS – picture archiving and communication system is the software that collect, store and communicate images from these modalities. The components of such a system would relay on the DICOM standard meanwhile satisfies the needs of the local hospital or region. Individual need can be for example the customizable report format for the institution or handling special access rights.
We also participate in the development of a chest CAD (computer aided detection) system that is integrated into the PACS system. This system will be able to detect in an early stage different kind of chest diseases.
We had spent the passed several years focusing on digital tomosynthesis (DTS) and achieved very promising results. We enchanced the existing reconstruction algorithms and developed a completely new to improve result. As a requirement for these we also developed new methods for scatter compensation. We have a working prototype from the software. We are searching for the opportunity to integrate it into suitable medical devices avaliable in the market.
